Toothpaste tubes and plastic mouth wash bottles are a massive source of waste for people, usually going through a number of these each year. Both can probably be replaced or at least alternated with home made more waste free versions. I won’t lie, for the toothpaste I still use the regular ones much more as I am still little skeptical and afraid for my teeth :/
But I do use very little with each brush, and I do alternate every now and again with my home made toothpaste. Many people use waaay too much toothpaste when they brush their teeth.
Remember you only need very small amount, you certainly do not need to cover your whole toothbrush’s bristles with it.
What are your thoughts on home made (more zero waste) toothpastes?
On the other hand I am all for a home made mouthwash and really like it, and do make use of that on the regular.
